Meet the Author With Abdel Berrada

Local author Abdel Berrada will be with us on May 10th at 1:30-3pm to talk about his book, Driss’s Trials and Triumphs. Come meet Abdel and pick up a copy!

The author will introduce his novel and show pictures from Morocco where some of the scenes were set. Driss’s story addresses a taboo topic in Muslim countries, which is the sexual abuse of boys by older men and the toll it inflicts on its victims. It’s also a story of love, soul searching, redemption, and resilience in the face of adversity.
